User Manager
User Manager allows the ability to setup different users. The users will include Username, Password, Email, Certificate Number, Comment, and Admin. It also allows the ability to export and import a user to transfer to another system running ITpipes Mobile. User export contains: user info, tabs, filters, and hot buttons. Username - The username in which will be entered upon login. Password - Unique password for the user. Email - Email address for the user. Certificate Number - Certificate Number of the user. Comment - Usually the comment is filled out with the users full name. Role - Identifies what level of control the user has. Currently Mobile only has permissions for Write and Admin.
Explanation of User Permissions
1. None, View, Read, and Edit
a. Not implemented at this moment.
2. Write
a. Full Read / Write / Delete
b. Access to all assets, data, and map
3. Admin
a. Write access with full admin privileges. This includes modification of users
Add a User
1. Select
2. Select the user from “Users” which will default to “NewUser”
3. Input the Username, Password, Email, Certificate Number, Comment, and Role.
4. Select to save the user.
Delete a User
1. Select the user from “Users”.
2. Select
3. Select to delete the user or
to cancel.
Modify a User
1. Select the user from “Users”.
2. Modify the information on the user.
3. Select to save the user modifications.
Duplicate a User
1. Select a user from the list of users.
2. Select to duplicate the selected user.
3. Input the Username, Password, Email, Certificate Number, Comment, and Admin.
4. Select to save the user.
Import a User
1. Select to export the user.
2. Browse to the folder that the json file will be saved to.
3. Select .
4. The user will then be exported to a json file that can be imported into another system that has ITpipes Mobile.
Export a User
1. Select to export the user.
2. Browse to the folder that the json file is located.
3. Select the json file.
4. Select .
5. The user will show up. This user can then log in during the login screen.
Removing a Users Password
To remove a user's password. Select the user that will have the password removed. Select to remove the password for the selected user.
