Prep to complete Data Migration Form

Prep to complete Data Migration Form

When a data migration is performed, it is critical we know what you expect to be migrated, therefore we require this form be completed.

During the sales process, the ITpipes representative will have provided an estimate based on discussions and a generalized description regarding the data.  However, to ensure you are getting back what you believe is sent to us, we need some real numbers. Completing the form to confirm what you expect to be migrated, helps us save you time and effort reviewing the completed data set.

Researching these bullet points in advance will expedite completing the form, although you can find more detail  by reviewing the form itself.
  • How much data i.e. storage size is being submitted?
  • How many databases are being submitted?
  • What software were the databases created using?
  • Was a compliant standard such as NASSCO PACP, LACP, SPICAP etc. used to create the database?
    • If so, which version of the standard was used?
    • If that standard has an export, please export the data into that format for the migration process.
  • How many assets are part of the database being submitted?
  • How many inspections are part of the database being submitted?
  • How many video files are being submitted?
  • Determine how you want to get the data to ITpipes - see this KBA.
