Lucity Requirements

This KBA has details specific for Lucity integration & this KBA has details for any AMS integration with ITpipes.

If Lucity + ITpipes integration is purchased and needs set up, please download complete this worksheet. To schedule an appointment to talk through this worksheet and/or review questions, please use this link.

Requirements/Notes:

  • A Lucity Asset module for related asset i.e. sewer, storm, or other.

  • Lucity API be installed.

  • This does require task codes and category codes are pre-defined in Lucity.

  • A user who has access to the Work Order portion of the API. Preferably one that the password does not change on.

Asset/Inspections Types Available: Sewer mainlines, Storm Mainlines, Storm Manholes

Integration functions available:

  1.  Hyperlink inside Lucity to open ITpipes Web ViewerWith Lucity, a link is provided that will allow the user to go to the selected asset using ITpipes Web Viewer.

    1. ITpipes Web

      1. Links will be attached to the inspection documents, under links.

    2. Legacy

    1. For more information on how to generate the link, please go to the following link.

    2. Link would be the following: “http://(website)/Asset/Search?assetType=ML&assetName=%%UniqueIDPropertyName%%

      1. For example: "http://demo.cloud.itpipes.com/Asset/Search?assetType=ML&assetName=%%LucityID%%"

  1. Uploading completed inspections into Lucity On initial set up, ITpipes will request a remote session to obtain the Lucity field names and domain inputs for the asset type to be set up for integration.  The domain inputs for the Lucity fields must match in ITpipes and Lucity. For more information on modifying the fields in Lucity, please contact Lucity.  ITpipes integration into Lucity can be set up for the following asset types, with each asset integration type setup and licensing separate:

      1. Sewer PACP

      2. Storm PACP

      3. Sewer TV Inspections

      4. Storm TV Inspections

      5. Storm Structure Inspections

  2. Download of work orders from Lucity into ITpipes Mobile for inspection to the assigned Users - With the Lucity integration, ITpipes will download the unique identifier for the asset. If the unique identifier is not found in the ITpipes Master database, a new asset is created along with the inspection for download to the truck. If the unique identifier is found in the ITpipes master database, then only an inspection is generated.

    1. If work orders are not downloaded from Lucity and are started from the map inside ITpipes, the work orders may have additional GIS information prepopulated to the inspection.

  3. Creating a new work order and/or modifying a work order in Lucity for a completed inspection - ITpipes Integration with Lucity can be set to automatically create a work order inside Lucity if an inspection is performed and there is not an existing work order in Lucity to match that asset inspection.
