How to manually remove a project from ITpipes Sync

ITpipes Sync Client

The ITpipes Sync Client controls what projects are synched from the truck to the ITpipes Web.  The easiest way to top synching a project is to open the ITpipes Sync settings and use the remove button.



ITpipes Sync Client Config File (for advanced users)

Optionally, the project can be removed from the config file.  This file can be found in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Infrastructure Technologies\ITSync Client or C:\Program Files\Infrastructure Technologies\ITSync Client folders and is named: ITSyncClient.exe.config

  1. The ITSyncClient.exe.config can be opened with a text editor, such as notepad.  
  2. Locate the section <SyncProjectCollection>
  3. The projects will be listed in this section.  Select the entire entry and remove it.

  1. Next, locate the <connectionStrings> section
  2. Remove the corresponding entry 

  1. After removing both entries, save the config file. 
  2. The next time ITpipes Sync runs, the project will no longer be synched to ITpipes Web.
