How to check if a video file is MP4/H264? Required for ITPipes Web Video Playback

ITpipes Web uses MP4 with an H264 codec.   To identify the video file format, a video player software is required. A good option is VLC player, link here

To confirm the files is MP4: 
1) Select the video file on your computer.
2) Right click on the video file and select 'properties'.
3) This window will appear, this will show the file extension, .mp4.



To confirm the file is MP4 with H264 (required by ITpipes Web to stream video playback), use VLC Player.
1) Inside VLC Player, open the file to be reviewed.
2) Select tools, codec information
3) This window will appear, this will show the codec as H264.
