Purpose: Updates to the ITpipes Web and Mobile software included in the July 2025, 1.7.0 release.
ITpipes Web & Mobile 1.7 Updates
Version 1.7.0 delivers meaningful upgrades to the ITpipes platform, focusing on improved License Management, Automatic Updates and Sync Log improvements. Highlights of this update include:

We’ve made some behind the scenes updates to how we manage licenses in order to better provide licensing support.

| Automatic Updates |
With ITpipes Version 1.7.0 we allow for older versions of ITpipes to be updated by users without the need for administrative support. ITpipes Web users will always have the latest version after logging in online. ITpipes Mobile users are prompted to update when a newer version is available.

Versions 1.6.0 and 1.5.0 had many performance improvements along with a few key updates, including:
| Lateral Support in Cityworks |
Support for Lateral asset types, allowing them to upload to and download from Cityworks

A redesigned Support button now directs users to Zendesk for quick access to help articles, release notes, troubleshooting guides, and TeamViewer for remote assistance
A new network icon displays real-time network connection strength, helping users make informed decisions about syncing based on connectivity

| The updated Sync Project button under Tools gives users greater flexibility and control over inspection and media syncing, including options to exclude videos or upload specific inspections |

| Sync Log Details button in ITpipes Web Sync Logs allow users to view detailed sync logs |

Users can reassign an inspection to the correct asset
|
Users can change parent asset using the ITpipes interface and the database is updated, inspection history is logged. Users with permissions can do this in bulk.
